Hi Everyone! I would like to let you know about the Day of Good Deeds on December 7th.
Some of you have asked me , “How do I find my soul’s purpose?” I will tell you that the fastest way to find your soul’s purpose is to connect to others in our world. All forms of life constantly supply you with the Keys to your life. If you want to be on the fast track of spiritual growth , get out there and be with other people, animals and plants! Talk to as many people you can , pet the dog that comes to say hello, walk and look at the sky, feel the leaves of the trees, breathe the wind. Try to help others every day! Go out of your way to smile at someone.
Here’s another way you can connect. On December 7th, we will be donating items to 5 charity organizations . If we all help with this we will be able to make many others happy. Did you ever notice how happy you feel when you make someone else happy? Much happier than when you were buying something. Look through your items and see if you can give the things you no longer need to others. Every year many people struggle during the holiday season. We all have so much. See what you can do! Maybe your family or neighbors have things to donate too.
If anyone you know shows an interest in what you are doing, invite them to come on to the Day of Good Deeds. We will meet here at 444 at 1pm. Have your car filled with the donation items. We will reorganize our items for distribution, then drop the items off at the appropriate destinations. Some of you can help with packing things for the mail to Haiti. Please write back and let me know if you can be one of the drivers that day. The locations are pretty close. After we work, we will have a pot luck dinner here. You can bring a dinner item to share ! This brings me to one last point. Give freely. Give things for free. Require nothing back. Be delighted when free giving to comes to you.
